About

Culturati: Summit 2C19 convened a dynamic community of C-suite leaders, entrepreneurs, scholars, and culture builders in Austin, Texas, to examine the future of workplace culture. The Summit opened with Steven Tomlinson, PhD, playwright, seminary professor, and executive coach, who set the tone in a keynote on “Culture for the Common Good,” exploring how corporations can serve as better citizens and align culture with purpose.

Keynote sessions included Tim League, Founder & CEO of Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas, in a candid conversation with Kelly White, CEO of SAFE, moderated by Kelli Mason, COO of New Knowledge, on lessons from crisis and transformation. In "Systems of Bias," Candi Castleberry Singleton, VP of Diversity Partnership Strategy and Engagement at Twitter, and Caroline Wanga, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at Target, interviewed by Culturati co-founder Josh Jones-Dilworth, confronted the realities of bias in technology and the urgency of centering DEI in organizational strategy. Closing the day, Mayerland Harris, Group Vice President of Talent, Diversity, and Inclusion at H-E-B; Elizabeth Owen, Chief Human Resources Officer at Levi Strauss & Co.; and Grace Zuncic, Chief People Officer at Chobani, interviewed by Eugene Sepulveda, CEO & co-founder of Culturati, shared how values-driven companies take stands on social and humanitarian issues and the business and cultural impact of doing so.

"Culturati eats Strategy Conferences for breakfast.”
