Getting the Team Back Together

The Entrepreneurs’ Invitational made its return, bringing together founders, operators, investors, and friends for a night that blended old-school Austin energy with a new wave of innovators. After a 16-year run and a two-year hiatus, the tradition came back with camaraderie, competition, and the kind of connection that reminds us why community matters.

At this year’s Invitational, we honored Silverton Partners and GPs Morgan Fletcher, Kip McClanahan, and Mike Dodd with The Courageous Capital Award for their bold and sustained investment in Austin’s founders, ecosystem, and culture of innovation—for going all in on people and ideas that continue to shape our city’s entrepreneurial future.

We also featured four nonprofits: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Central Texas, National Angels, IssueVoter, Hi, How Are You Project. IssueVoter received the evening's $10,000 grant, directed by the winner of the General Tournament, Adam Lyons.

IssueVoter, the grant recipient, is a nonpartisan civic engagement platform that helps individuals track and influence the specific policies their elected officials vote on. Users select the issues they care about, receive plain-language summaries of bills moving through Congress, and can weigh in with one click—followed by personalized scorecards that track each representative’s voting record over time.

Bringing the Invitational back reinforced something essential: when people gather with purpose—rooting for one another, sharing stories, forging new connections—belonging becomes a catalyst for impact. That spirit is core to Culturati, and it’s what continues to make this event meaningful year after year.
